On April 21st, took place in the A Banca Vigo Auditorium, the fourth edition of The Energy Night, the Galicia Energy Awards Ceremony. In the event, organized by the Official College of Industrial Engineers of Galicia, the OPERE Project was awarded in the category of the best project in energy efficiency. Ms. Isabel Rodríguez - Moldes, Vice-Rector of Innovation and Knowledge Transfer at the USC and Mr. Juan Rodríguez Fernández-Arroyo, Technical Director at Energylab, collected the award.

The prize in communication in the field of energy went to Lui Costas, journalist of La Opinión. The best performance of awareness raising and dissemination was for the program Teo Sostible 2016: Actions against climate change and fight against energy poverty, carried out by the Teo City Council. Lavelle Bikes was the winner of the best entrepreneurial project. The award for the best lighting project went to the Control Center Teucro, commercialised by Edison Galicia. The best renewable project award corresponded to the Evolux Solar Initiative from Enor Elevators.
The event Noite da Enerxía is a reference to the energy sector in Galicia, which brings together the energy sector of the region, as well as, a wide representation of political, economic and social actors of the Galicia society.
The aim of these awards is to recognised a continued career in the promotion and implementation of good practices in the field of the energy, as well as the contributions made by professionals or entities for these purposes.
