Second panel of experts of OPERE project called Networking Panel was held at the University of Santiago de Compostela on Wednesday October 21.
Fourteen guests have attended the event representing five LIFE projects: LIFE Smart Hospital, New4Old, COOP2020, The Autonomous Office and Life OPERE and some great experienced in managing European projects institutions: Diputación de Orense, Mayor of Santiago de Compostela and ITG.
The Panel was intended to fulfill some objectives achieved in the project: on the one hand, to study the impact caused by activities derived from its implementation on the environment and, on the other hand, to know experiences of other similar projects and to exchange information.
The day has passed according to the planned timetable: project presentations were followed by a round table related to issues to maximize the socioeconomic impact of projects on the environment and the importance of their disseminating at the Technological Research Institute. Then, “Residencia Monte da Condesa” pilot project building was visited and the day finished with a networking lunch.
The experience has been very positive and well appreciated by participants. It is very important to celebrate such events to avoid duplications, to promote technology and knowledge and to save resources that could be used to improve results.
